The end was so surprising- I honestly believed she was in a country I’ve never heard of although I know most countries.🙂 And the constant whining of expats against the local everything is so familiar… I used to be an expat like that, thank God, no more. Now I love everything about my second country.🙂

We are all that person at one point 🫣. Growing out of it is a rewarding journey. Thanks for reading!

Bryan, you sneaky writer, Thalonisia is a moon circling Saturn? That explains the 3D printed food comment. That place is about as different as you can get. People keep being who they are no matter where they are, I guess. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

Oh, it didn’t tweak until you told me at the end she was on a whole other planet! Great job!

She'd better get to learning the language! How else can you make new friends? What a great story premise, Bryan. One I'd like to hear more of. What kinds of Thalonisians does she meet? What does she learn from them!? Thalonisian romance? I am in! ha ha ha

To be fair, it's a very difficult language :). Maybe she'll get a sequel sometime soon...lots of things to share, for sure.

I look forward to that!
